books...
trust me when i say, i never liked reading especially those really thick and wordy kind!however ever since my friend ting wei introduced me to this authOR ji mi(i read his book)it's not really a book of words more like a hui hua ben...there's drawings and words,the things his not only are his drawing beautiful,his words touched me,and even inspire me to start writing stuff to drawings and also read more of such books.
i read a book today that touched me.it's not a book about love or anything but just a simple story about a girl and her toy turtle..i read through a couple of books,and neither of them made me have this particular feeling,that touched me i mean.until i read this book.it's a rather thin book,the drawings are not as elaborate as the rest,however somehow i found this book rather special...(was tempted but no cash..)
i then realised that it's really hard to write a touching story,probably the use of words is important or how you describe the scene etc...or maybe it's just that different stories has different effects on different people..maybe because it links to things that happen before in your life , your character or something deep inside your heart.it'sreally amazing!being an author i guess isn't as easy as it looks..
like that story about the girl and the toy turtle(it speaks about being abandoned)probably links to my character ba....ha ha
